Dear Volunteers/Financial Supporters:

Posted by Cindy Pipkin on 06/19/2007

Just a couple of notes about our program:

  1. Effective July 1st, we will be operating out of a new 501(c) 3, Life Change Ballroom, Inc. Until now, we have been operating as a program out of Life Change Christian Ministries, Inc. (also a 501(c) 3 thanks to Ms. Shirley Coleman. Ms. Coleman will now become an integral part of my board of directors for Life Change Ballroom.
  2. The Life Change Ballroom kids will be performing at the Cox Center on July 14th. This is actually an Arbonne event and we are expecting between 6,000 & 10,000 in attendance. The morning session starts at 8:30 a.m. SHARP with Dr. Tom Anderson (1 ½ hours) who wrote the book, Becoming a Millionaire God’s Way. Dr. Anderson is the founder and senior pastor of The Living Word Bible Church in Mesa, Arizona. Growing up in a line shack in Loretta, Wisconsin, Dr. Anderson experienced what it was like to struggle financially. Over the years, he has learned the biblical principles that have raised him out of poverty and made him successful in every area of his life. Sharing those principles of success has become a driving force in his life and ministry.

Next on the agenda we are featuring Life Change Ballroom. I have about 25 minutes to highlight the program and showcase our incredible kids. So, for those of you who are not in Arbonne and want to come enjoy just the morning session with Dr. Anderson and the LCB kids, that is absolutely fine! I know there are churches sending people to the morning session to hear Dr. Anderson—but I can’t imagine they won’t stay for the kids, too!! The kids are working on a choreographed routine for 2 different songs and they are just so excited! They will also dance all their dances during the lunch break for entertainment.
The tickets to get in are $25 (that includes your box lunch if you decide to stay for it) and I probably should mention this is a professional conference for adults, so please don’t bring children with you; because they will not let you in—it even says “no children” on the event flyer! Tickets are available online only at

Parking is always an issue with this many people going downtown, so you may also want to wear comfortable shoes! I’m guessing parking will be somewhere around $3 - $10 depending on how close you get to the event. The attire most people will be wearing that day will be business casual.
At any rate, I wanted you to know about our 501(c) 3 changes and where the kids are performing so you could have an opportunity to come see them if you want. If you know anyone who may be interested in supporting Life Change Ballroom, I hope you will make it a point to bring them!
Thank you all for all that you do to make this an EFFECTIVE, successful program for our incredible kids!! I hope you will come see just how amazing they are!!
